The skills to be acquired by the student in the course are:
- To know genomic techniques, transcriptomic and proteomic currently used in research.
- To know some example of applications of genomics in marine sciences.
- To make the connection between the techniques presented in the course and their uses in other courses of the master.


Chapter 1: Sequencing methods (1h CM)
Chapter 2: Sequencing and genome annotation (3h CM) + assembly and annotation of genomes (3h TP)
Chapter 3 : Transcriptomics: microarrays, sequencing and analysis of transcriptome data sets (3h CM) + transcriptomic data analysis (3h TP)
Chapter 4 :Functional genetics: reverse genetics tools: CRISP / cas9, RNA interference (3 CM)
Chapter 5 :Environmental genomics: metagenomics and microbial diversity (2h CM)
Chapter 6 : Taxonomy, molecular phylogenetic, bar coding of life (2h CM + 2TD)
Chapter 7 : Population genomics (RADseq, genome scan, ...) (4h CM)
Chapter 8 :Proteomics (CM 3h + 3h TD)
