Présentation

Student perform a complete survey of a lake, river or bay, from system installation, set-up, operations, data processing, and chart production on various subjects, each subject being elective, among six possible topics.

Use of CTD, ADCP, Lidar and various other sensors, then data processing and interpretation, are a central part of the activity of this teaching unit. Students

This project aims at student autonomy and self management. Teams of 3-6 students have dedicated assignments during the Semester with also self-study.

Pré-requis nécessaires

This survey will take place early in the academic year, so that few pre-requisites can be asked; ease with computer language is most useful; interest for in situ measurements is required
