Présentation
The tools for an efficient scientific communication in English will be mastered through extensive written (reports, synthesis, …) and oral (debates, presentations, …) activities.
These activities may be parts of projects developed and implemented with other teachings.
Pré-requis nécessaires
Grammatical & Lexical basics acquired within the frame of a Scientific Bachelor’s Degree.
Objectifs
Equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to communicate efficiently and unequivocally with fellow scientists as well as novices.
Compétences visées
B2-level Mastery of the 5 main language skills (Reading and Listening comprehension, Written Expression and Oral (both Continuous and Interacting) Expression).
Ability to present activities and/or results.
Ability to argue in the defense of a position.
Constructive debating skills.
Efficient negociation skills.
Ability to advise by means of reports.
Ability to ease decision-making by means of synthesis.
